A fantastic celebration of reading, creativity and imagination

World Book Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across Cheltenham Prep, with pupils, staff and parents all embracing the spirit of the day. The school was filled with an array of imaginative costumes, and the creativity on display was truly impressive.

The morning began with pupils enjoying time reading together and admiring each other’s outfits, sharing their favourite stories and characters. It was wonderful to see the excitement that books can inspire.

At lunchtime, the celebrations continued with a special Harry Potter–themed feast prepared by the catering team. Pupils enjoyed magical touches including butterbeer, making the meal a memorable part of the day.

To ensure the celebrations continue beyond World Book Day, every child went home with a new book or a voucher. Now the challenge is on to keep reading and add to their House or Form totals – who will be the end-of-term winners?
