Year 3 Visit Slimbridge Wetland Centre

A memorable day of wildlife, learning and exploring wetland habitats.

Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Slimbridge Wetland Centre, where they learnt all about wetland habitats and the importance of protecting them.

During the visit, the children saw a wide variety of wildlife, including flamingos, otters, swans and many migratory birds. They also discovered more about the water cycle and spent time enjoying some mindful moments in nature.

It seems the trip may have had a lasting impact, as we now have geese visiting our very own Lower School Lake – perhaps they liked the look of us and followed Year 3 back from Slimbridge.
