Children’s Mental Health Week
Pupils reflect on belonging and wellbeing during Children’s Mental Health Week 2026.
This week, pupils at Cheltenham Prep marked Children’s Mental Health Week by turning their games kit inside out – a simple yet powerful gesture to show that what is on the inside truly matters.
The 2026 theme, “This is My Place”, focuses on belonging and the importance of feeling safe, valued and supported. By wearing their kit inside out, pupils were reminded that emotions, thoughts and personal experiences are not always visible to others.
The initiative encouraged thoughtful conversations about kindness, inclusion and recognising that everyone carries feelings beneath the surface. It was a meaningful way for the Prep community to show that every child has a place where they belong.
